Among the papers recovered following the loss of the former House is a single fire-damaged leaf bearing the date 17 April 1941.
The page appears to have formed part of a larger household ledger. Its ruled columns and fragmentary entries suggest an account of provisions or expenditure rather than proceedings of the Committee, although too little remains legible for a reliable interpretation.
The heading and date have survived. Most of the entries have not.
It is not known whether the leaf had already become separated from its ledger or whether this occurred during the recovery of the House papers.
